Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
The wide dynamic range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under back light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively, namely when there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view of the camera. WDR enables the capture and display of both bright and dark areas in the same frame, in a way that there are details in both areas, i.e. bright areas are not saturated, and dark areas are not too dark.
An image processing technology which allows user select-able digital slow shutter speeds in order to allow extra light into a camera thereby providing higher sensitivity in low light conditions. Also referred to as "digital slow shutter(DSS)".This feature makes a camera more sensitive to light so it can produce images even in low lux (low light) conditions.
Motion detection function can trigger alarm or recording when sensing objects. users can program the sensitivity and detection zone. It works with any change of the pixels within the picture frame.
Digital Noise Reduction(DNR)
This feature eliminates the noise in the video image and reduces noise generated by moving video, resulting in a unique and clear image.
An on-screen display(abbreviated OSD) is an image superimposed on a screen picture, commonly used to display information. User can adjust the specification of cameras via OSD menu.
The Privacy Mask can block out sensitive areas from view, covering the areas with a solid block of color. This feature is ideal for locations with displays, keyboard sequences (e.g. passwords), and for anywhere else you don’t want sensitive information visible.
